Commercial Director Owlin
Bob’s career in the financial market started in 2006 as a trader in Carbon Emission Rights at Fortis, after the merger with ABN AMRO he was amongst others responsible for the set-up of various ABN AMRO commodities brokerage desks in Amsterdam, Hong Kong and London. For the latter one he moved to London in 2011 where he worked as Country Business manager and with the FCA in close collaboration to strengthen the local Risk Governance structure.
Starting 2014 he joined Owlin being responsible for the sales. Since then Owlin has increased its clients portfolio. Including clients from the Banking industry in the Netherlands, The United Kingdom and The United States, the big 4 consultants, payment service providers in the Netherlands and Asia, and Top 3 Global Rating Agencies

Brigitte Beugelaar is partner at KPMG. She has over 20 years of experience in the International Banking & Insurance sector in IT Risk Consulting and IT Audit & Assurance. She has been responsible for performing the banking system survey for over 13 years now and was involved in quality assurance roles regarding transformations in core banking systems. Furthermore she leads the Dutch team on Digital Assurance services.
Daniel Berry is Managing Director of FTSE Russell Sales in the Information Services Division of the London Stock Exchange Group.
Based in London, he is responsible for leading the Buy and Sell side Client Account Management and Sales Business across the UK and Europe.
Daniel joined FTSE Russell in 2012 after over a decade at information providers Bloomberg, Thomson Reuters and latterly Markit where he was part of a new team hired to build and lead the Solutions and Securities Lending information franchises.
Daniel entered the investment industry in 1995 as a Foreign Exchange money broker working as part of the successful Marshalls Group of financial intermediaries specializing in Forward and Derivative FX customer business having previously graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Economics from the University of Birmingham.
Senior Business Development Manager
With more than 20 years of experience in Capital Market securities services, Denis Noonan joined the Luxembourg Stock Exchange as Senior Manager of Strategy and Development in 2015. In this role, Denis was responsible for promoting and extending the exchange’s core activities of high quality listing and information dissemination to issuers globally. In 2017, he was given responsibility to manage and develop the Market Data and Analytics services and expand the Exchange’s presence in this rapidly growing industry.
Before joining the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, Denis was senior vice president of Strategy and Product Management at Clearstream, where he led several initiatives including Clearstream’s Global Renminbi Strategy, to extend Clearstream’s global product reach to new asset classes and customer segments. Prior to this, Noonan spent most of his career as a business consultant top tier financial institutions in the strategic planning and positioning of customer and product development.
Edske Smit works as a Risk Manager at First Pensions (parent company of FCR). He graduated with a research master’s degree in Human Geography and Planning from Utrecht University. Edske implements risk management strategies for pension funds and is responsible for the Risk management Dashboard and Reporting. His previous work experience includes credit risk modelling.
Evert-Jan ten Brundel (1961) is Business Development Director & Head of Consultancy for Screen Group. He has done numerous interim management assignments for banks in the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and Scandinavia in the market data management arena. Before joining Screen, Mr ten Brundel was Group Managing Director and Head of Product Management, Financial Markets for IHS Global Insight, where he worked for almost 7 years. Prior to that he held senior positions at Morgan Stanley Capital International, Primark Corporation (now part of Thomson Reuters and Deloitte Haskins & Sells, in disciplines as diverse as Client Service, Product Management, Data Operations and Finance.
François Ruiter started working at Quadient (formerly Human Inference) in 2002. As senior consultant, he implemented all Quadient’s Data Quality and matching technologies at many customers. Gaining the experience of working with Quadient’s solutions at customers gave him the opportunity for a next step in Product Management. In his current position, as Product Marketing Manager at Quadient, François is responsible for all Data Quality and Data Management solutions. Main focus areas are matching, data privacy and Customer Due Diligence.
Product Manager – Managed Data Services
Giles Arbuthnott joined RIMES Technologies in 2013 as the Service Manager responsible for the product management and marketing of the RIMES Benchmark Data Service. Prior to RIMES, Giles was at the London Stock Exchange for 15 years where, as the UnaVista Head of Product Management, he had responsibility for MIFID Transaction Reporting, the EMIR Trade Repository and the SEDOL Masterfile services. Giles has an MBA from Imperial College Business School.

Jean-Philippe Bersier is a long term career professional within the software and IT services business having held senior management positions for large prestigious international & Swiss companies. He has more than 15 years of experience in sales and consulting for large IT projects in the banking sector.
Jean-Philippe Bersier has joined ERI BANCAIRE in 2002 as Business Development Director. He is in charge of the development of new markets and the management of the sales team. Before joining ERI BANCAIRE, Mr Bersier was Sales Director for the Financial Markets Division at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Switzerland. He successively worked at Siemens Switzerland before accepting the position of Sales & Marketing Manager at Unicible (acquired by IBM). Mr Bersier holds a MBA in Economics from University of Lausanne (HEC).
Head of Compliance
Jeremy Garland joined RIMES in 2016 as Head of Compliance, specifically to work on the RIMES RegFocus® solutions for the buy-side. Prior to joining RIMES, he held a number of senior Compliance surveillance roles, most recently as the global head of monitoring and surveillance at Macquarie, the global investment banking and financial services group (2013 – 2016). Jeremy has over 30 years risk management experience in both the public and private sectors.
Jonathan Koscik is Senior Product Manager at AIM Software. He is responsible for the development and management of GAIN Data Portal, an innovative business application that is dedicated to the efficient and compliant sourcing of market data from popular data vendors. Jonathan has 11+ years of Product Management experience and a passion for problem solving. A visionary in his field, he excels at developing software applications that meet a specific market need and empower end users. Prior to joining AIM in 2015, Jonathan held senior Product Management and Development positions at Global Blue and Ericsson. He holds an Engineering degree from Carleton University and a postgraduate diploma in Business Informatics from the TU Wien.

Jos Martens is Business Development Director for Objectway, and responsible for the Netherlands, Scandinavia and the German speaking region. Jos has served in a number of large multinational companies, before joining Business Architects, a Belgian start-up company, in 2006 in the wealth management business unit. The unit spun off into a separate company (eXimius NV). eXimius was sold to Thomson Reuters in 2007 and acquired by Objectway Group in 2013. Jos holds a Bachelor of Science from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Florida, USA. Jos speaks 4 languages fluently and resides in the Netherlands.
Kam Chana is a highly experienced Digital Strategist supporting Temenos clients with navigating the digital landscape and formulating digital strategies. Kam comes with an extensive background in digital banking and finance working in the original 1990s tech boom for pioneers like Charles Schwab Stockbrokers. Kam has led on Digital Transformation efforts for Fidelity, RBS, BlackRock and Barclays as well as supporting Fintech startups with their digital proposition design.
Lennart Cattel is a Director in KPMG’s Advisory practice and is responsible for its Financial Markets Regulatory team. Lennart has 16 years of experience. Orginally, Lennart delivered projects on topics such as derivative valuation, risk management and performance measurement. In the aftermath of the financial crisis, Lennart started assisting clients with meeting regulatory requirements in the financial markets area. Lennart worked in KPMG’s New York office for 8 years and returned to the Netherlands in 2014.

Maikel Derksen is responsible for Business Team Control Room Systems as Business Team Manager. Maikel has been working at Inter Visual Systems for more than 20 years, and has extensive experience in various control room domains such as, Transportation, Oil & Gas, Industry, Finance, Broadcast and Telecom. Maikel has also been involved in the development of some Control Room solutions.
Marc van Deutekom joined Screen as a Senior Consultant in 2010, focusing on the investment management practice. Working exclusively in financial services since 1997, Marc started his banking career in customer facing roles, moving on towards mid- and back office management and project management.
Looking to broaden his horizon, Marc switched over to financial services consultancy in 2005, delivering projects and programs as varied as Investment Management solution implementations, data migrations, package selections, delivering online investment portals, new business implementations and strategic sourcing. More recently, Marc has fulfilled senior Interim Management roles in Banking and Insurance while continuing his focus on the investment management industry.

Marc Rubenfeld has close to 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, with specific experience in middle and back office technology. As Head of Eagle Solutions, EMEA/APAC, he is a senior member of the Eagle leadership team who fuels long-term growth by focusing on business development in the EMEA and APAC regions. He is a thought leader who manages a global team that works closely with sales, marketing, product, services, and support to advance new and add-on business opportunities using the Eagle solution set. He drives innovation within Eagle by working with clients and prospects to turn business challenges and opportunities into technology solutions for the marketplace.
Previously, Mr. Rubenfeld spent over 10 years on the product side of Eagle and was responsible for overseeing the performance measurement product development team. In this capacity, he managed a global team charged with software design and development functions, product support and quality assurance for the Eagle Performance suite of performance measurement, attribution, and GIPS® composite management solutions.
Prior to joining Eagle in 2002, Mr. Rubenfeld was an analyst for a predecessor to JP Morgan Prime Services. In that role, he was responsible for business analysis, leveraging technology to provide insight into that business.
Mr. Rubenfeld received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Vermont and holds a Certificate in Investment Performance Measurement from the CFA Institute.

Martijn Vrijburg (1970) has been working at KAS BANK since 1 July 2009. He started as Department Manager back office treasury and derivatives, he is now responsible for Process Improvement.

Prior to his work at CREON he was owner of a production company that delivered custom made products for another industry with high quality requirements, the international ‘Mega Yacht-industry ‘
Rob’s areas of expertise are regulatory, risk and project management in the financial industry sector, particularly banking and capital markets. Rob has been active within the financial sector since 1991 in both technical, business and risk/regulatory roles. During his time at KPMG Rob has focused on assessments and implementation projects closely linked to regulatory and risk topics such as: risk forecasting, risk control, risk data, BCSB 239, BRRD, EMIR, CRR, AIFMD, MiFID II and MAR. Rob is a member of KPMG’s regulatory compliance team and the Dutch ambassador for the KPMG European network. He has extensive experience both in the Netherlands as well as abroad having worked in Germany, Spain, Switzerland and UK for a total period of 16 years.

Sander Klous is professor in big data ecosystems for business and society at the University of Amsterdam. He is managing partner of data analytics at KPMG in the Netherlands and member of KPMG’s global leadership team on data & analytics. Sander has a PhD in High Energy Physics (HEP) and worked for over a decade on a number of projects for CERN, the world’s largest physics institute in Geneva. He is one of the authors of the Nobel prize winning ATLAS publication about the discovery of the Higgs boson. His best-selling book “We are Big Data” was runner-up for the management book of the year award in 2015.
Director of Index Sales
Shaun Baskett has over 20 years of experience in the financial industry with a background in equity Derivatives and Indexing.
Shaun is currently the Director of Index Sales for Bats Europe, the largest stock exchange in Europe. In his role, which he has held since the beginning of 2017, Shaun oversees sales and marketing efforts for the company’s index products. Bats launched its index business in June 2016 and is bringing choice and competition to the European index market through its suite of products.
Prior to joining Bats, Shaun worked in Index sales for Deutsche Boerse, as well as roles at the London Stock Exchange and OM Group. Shaun has also had several roles in Investment banks including as a sales trader at JP Morgan and Dresdner Kleinwort Benson.

Simon is responsible for the management and growth of FCR’s business. Prior to his current position he has held various positions in the investment industry where he implemented risk management solutions for institutional investors.
