As part of a global review, Screen Consultants analysed the market data usage and spending to identify potential cost reduction opportunities. As part of this assignment we reviewed market data vendor contractual obligations, including termination and renewal dates, usage requirements (including under- or non-utilised products) and non-essential market data permissioning. Part of the project was to provide the client with comparable vendor product comparisons for required data products.

The result was that the client had a clear overview of his potential annual savings based on viable market data alternative products, permission reduction, contractual negotiation and process optimisation.
